Support equity, debt and grants transactions and new business development efforts. Work primarily on the execution of debt structures - project finance, ECA financing, Muni Bonds as well as partnership transactions. Supports the VP Financing, CFO and key positions in the company to execute key business expansion and financing efforts. The role is based on the East Coast of the United States on a hybrid schedule.
Key Responsibilities- Execute complex financing structures, including Project Financing, ECA Financing, Muni bonds and equity transactions - including preparation of finance models and scenario analysis
- Prepare presentation materials, and marketing materials, including investor presentations and confidential information memorandum
- Execute business, financial and accounting due diligence in coordination with banks, advisors, potential partners and internal stakeholders
- Manage multiple aspects of day-to-day transaction execution
- Support business expansion teams with finance modeling and business plan creation and maintenance
- Prepare, analyze and help explain historical and projected financial information
- Perform valuations for potential business case opportunities
- Assist in the marketing and planning of engagements

- 2-4 years of investment banking experience is required (capital markets and project finance)
- Bachelor's degree Finance and or economics / MBA
- Coursework in accounting and finance required.
- Strong analytical capabilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A fundamental understanding of valuation theory, methodologies and applications.
- Strong financial and computer (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff and a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
