Role Overview

Navia Benefit Solutions is seeking a skilled FP&A Manager to join a high-growth, sponsor‑backed organization at a pivotal stage of evolution. As a recent Shore Capital platform investment within the Employee Benefits TPA space, Navia is actively scaling its capabilities and building the financial infrastructure required to support rapid expansion and long‑term value creation.

This is a highly visible, newly created role with the opportunity to shape and lead the company’s financial planning and analysis function. Reporting directly to the CFO, this position will serve as a key finance leader—owning forecasting, budgeting, and performance analytics—while acting as a strategic partner to executive and functional leaders across the business. The role blends hands‑on analytical rigor with forward‑looking business insight.

You will play a critical part in driving growth, enhancing operational performance, and informing decision‑making in a dynamic, private‑equity‑backed environment.

Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Forecasting
  • Own the annual budget, rolling forecast, and multi‑year financial planning processes
  • Build and maintain driver‑based financial models, scenario analyses, and sensitivity analyses
  • Partner with department leaders to align financial plans with operating and strategic priorities
Performance Management & Analysis
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly variance analysis, trend analysis, and KPI reporting with clear narratives and implications
  • Develop dashboards and executive‑ready reporting that provide visibility into financial and operational performance
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and improvement initiatives through deep analysis of financial and operating data
Strategic & Operational Finance
  • Function as a finance business partner to operational leaders, supporting decision‑making and resource allocation
  • Support M&A activities including financial modeling, diligence support, and post‑close performance tracking
  • Contribute to capital allocation decisions, investment cases, and long‑range value creation initiatives
Process Improvement & Infrastructure
  • Improve FP&A processes, templates, and cadence to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and insight
  • Support the development of standardized KPIs and metrics aligned with management and investor expectations
  • Collaborate closely with accounting to ensure consistency between actuals, forecasts, and reporting
Executive & Stakeholder Support
  • Prepare materials for executive leadership, board discussions, and sponsor/investor reporting
  • Clearly communicate financial insights to non‑finance stakeholders with confidence and credibility
  • Serve as a dependable thought partner to senior leadership on financial and operational topics
Why This Role
  • Partner closely with CFO and executive leadership team
  • Influence strategic decisions and operational performance
  • Build scalable FP&A infrastructure in a growth‑oriented organization
  • Develop a strong foundation for future senior finance leadership roles
