The City of Renton is hiring for a Police Officer position. This role involves general duty police work, including the protection of life and property, enforcement of laws and ordinances, prevention and investigation of crimes, and maintenance of order. Officers are expected to engage positively with community members and work independently and as part of a team.

Salary information and benefits are available in the position description. The base salary range is $103,788 - $128,088 annually, with potential for education and longevity premiums. Lateral Police Officers must have at least 12 months of experience as a full-time, paid, commissioned Police Officer within the last 36 months, or have successfully completed a state law enforcement academy.
