Criminal Justice Information Specialist 3 - ACCESS Business Auditor

with the Washington State Patrol's Justice Information Division conducts on-site and remote audits of criminal and non-criminal justice agencies to ensure compliance with FBI and state standards for the ACCESS system. The role manages user training records, coordinates with agencies on certification requirements, and provides subject matter expertise on criminal justice information usage and system security. This position requires up to 50% travel for in-state audits and training, with a hybrid work schedule possible after the training period.

• Valid driver's license required due to in-state travel
• Associates Degree OR two years' experience in records entry, dispatch, or business auditing in Washington state criminal justice agencies
• Effective presentation, customer service, and written/verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal criminal justice systems and business practices
• Proficiency with Microsoft products (Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, Excel)
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs and travel 50% of the time
