Mr. Naturalz Salon caters to curly, kinky, and loc’d textures of hair. We specialize in maintaining healthy, natural textures, along with other services, such as: coloring, braiding, cuts and all stages of locing hair.

We strive to provide the highest level of service, while creating and retaining a loyal customer base. Mr. Naturalz Salon aims to be a leader in natural hair care in the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Our clients are our number one priority; their satisfaction, along with our ability to create innovative, individual styles are complimented with our commitment to the education and maintenance of healthy, natural hair.

Mr Naturalz is seeking Stylists with a passion for natural curly, kinky and loc'd hair care that wants to become an expert! This is the perfect position for a individual looking to enter into the career, stylists who have no experience to years of experience but still needs coaching & support. Our model will allow them to grow their skills, with a team by their side.

Stylist Pay

• Starting Pay: $20 during training period
• fully developed pay structure 40%+ Commission + client tips
• Eligible for benefits & STOafter 90 days

• Comprehensive benefit package (retirement plan, medical)

Who we are looking for:

• A Stylist with a passion for curly, kinky and loc'd hair, healthy hair care practices and continuing education.
• Coachable
• Hardworking, goal orientated and be open to learning the Mr Naturalz way and techniques.
• Willingness to participate with our social team to advertise the business
• Works well independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Willingness to offer services within our standards at all times.
• Physical requirements of this position include: standing / walking for sustained periods of time, lifting up to 10 pounds / continuous repetitive movement with fingers, hands, wrists and arms, and continuous grasping and reaching / Continually required to bend, stoop, and talk
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision; distance vision; color vision; peripheral vision; depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Skills

• Expert Shampoo Service & treatments experience is a plus.
• Natural hair cutting experience is a plus.
• Curl Definition experience is a plus.
• Loc Styling and maintenance experience is a plus.
• Braiding experience is a plus.

Position

Job Duties:

• Be on time for shift
• Clock In / Clock out for shifts
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute towards a quality work environment
• Perform services within time standards
• Adhere to the uniform standard (including hair)
• Complete open / close tasks per shift
• Follow our salon standards for services, behavior and general workflow
• Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while educating and training clients in these areas
