Funeral Director

American Memorial is an independent funeral home with locations in Olympia, Tacoma, Renton and Everett. This position will base in Renton and would need to travel to satellite locations as needed. Company vehicle will be provided for travel. Removals from AFH, hospitals and ME offices will also be part of the position.

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Funeral Director located in Renton, WA. The Funeral Director will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing funeral services, assisting families with arranging funeral plans, and ensuring all aspects of services align with client expectations. The role also involves maintaining compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

• Proficiency and knowledge of funeral service procedures
• Experience with Funeral Homes and familiarity with industry standards and practices
• Strong Family Services and customer care abilities to guide and assist clients with empathy and professionalism
• Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively interact with families and team members
• Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion
• State licensing as a Funeral Director
• Previous experience in funeral industry a must
• Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities
