Speech Pathologist
A contract opportunity is available for two skilled Speech‑Language Pathologists to support a school setting in Renton, WA. This role requires expertise in delivering specialized speech and language services to students, fostering their communication skills and academic success. Candidates will work full‑time with a caseload of approximately 50 students, providing targeted therapeutic services.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct speech and language assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implement effective therapy interventions.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans to meet evolving needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote a comprehensive approach to student care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations relevant to special education.
- Valid Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) certification or license appropriate for school settings.
- Demonstrated experience working as an SLP in educational environments with a caseload similar in size and complexity.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development, disorders, and intervention strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with students, parents, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Location:
Renton, WA - Contract positions, with a start date for Position 1 as soon as possible, and Position 2 beginning at the end of February.
- Contract end date:
June 12, 2026 - Full‑time schedule, 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload of 50 students
- No Speech‑Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) support provided
