The Sales & Events Administrative Assistant must be a highly motivated individual who is eager and ready to accept additional responsibilities when needed. This position is responsible for providing administrative support to a team of Sales/Event Managers including, but not limited to, answering phones and speaking with clients, maintaining systems, creation of leads, presentations, proposals and contracts, and coordinating client needs for managers.
The ideal candidate has a friendly demeanor and can multitask and complete projects in a timely manner. This person should demonstrate exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.

Wage InformationThe salary range for this position is $23.25 to $30.23. The starting hourly rate is $23.25. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, including experience, qualifications and education.
Qualifications- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast- paced environment
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient knowledge of computer applications or ability to learn new computer programs. Knowledge of Opera, Reserve and Envision will be prioritized
- Strong organizational, customer service and interpersonal skills
- Basic hospitality knowledge and/or administrative support experience is preferred
- Must be able to work independently and confidently
- Ability to establish professional relationships within the hotel and manage confidential information
