Systems Administrator, IT Consultant
Founded in Seattle in 1891, we’re a fourth-generation, family-run footwear company behind Western Chief, Staheekum, and Chooka - still family-run, still having fun, and still making footwear people love.
We’re looking for an IT Manager who loves to get things done. This role is for someone who enjoys jumping into systems, solving real problems, and keeping the business running smoothly, while also helping us build smarter, more scalable tech for the future.
Please note, to keep our small but mighty team collaborating efficiently, this role is based in person at our Renton HQ.
What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day)
- Own and support our core systems: ERP, WMS, EDI, networks, and devices
- Manage our M365 environment (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, security & licensing)
- Actively troubleshoot issues, improve workflows, and keep systems humming
- Automate repetitive ERP tasks and streamline processes wherever possible
- Manage internal networks, security, backups, and disaster recovery
- Handle IT onboarding/offboarding - accounts, access, hardware, the whole deal
- Partner closely with Operations, Sales, Finance, and DC teams to solve problems fast
- Manage vendors, upgrades, and hands-on IT projects
- Keep clear, practical documentation so systems are easy to understand and support
What We’re Ideally Looking For
- 5+ years in IT, system administration, or IT project management
- Strong experience with cloud ERP, EDI, networking, and security
- A problem-solver who prefers action over theory
- Comfortable wearing multiple hats and jumping in wherever needed
- Clear communicator who works well across teams
Preferred Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Equivalent hands-on experience welcomed
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Azure Administrator, etc.) are a plus
What We Offer
- Competitive benefits package; medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance
- Employee purchase credit for free product
- Open work environment with a casual dress code
- A collaborative and supportive team environment with a flat organizational structure
Why This Role
You’ll be the person who makes sure things work today and helps make them better tomorrow. If you like ownership, impact, and building solutions that actually get used, you’ll thrive here.
Compensation dependent on experience: $95,000 - $125,000 annually
