Join the heartbeat of data innovation as a Database Administrator. You will:

• Be the go-to expert powering the systems that support Providence Health Plan across Oregon.
• Craft solutions, fine-tune performance, and collaborate with customers, vendors, and tech pros.
• Help keep information flowing and support other service areas as needed.
• Contribute to data initiatives that impact care delivery and operations.

Note: This role may involve on-call duties as part of maintaining data availability.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and work experience
• 4+ years in a related technical field
• 4+ years of Information Systems experience
• 2+ years of data analysis and/or data administration in a relational database environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4+ years of data analysis and/or data administration in a relational database environment
• Experience with real-time transactional replication
• Expertise in SQL Server 2019 and newer
• Hands-on experience with T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and indexing strategies
• Ability to diagnose technical issues and coordinate resolution
• Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience designing and executing ETL workflows, SSIS, and data migration strategies
• Experience with Always On Availability Groups and disaster recovery solutions
• Ability to document functional requirements and technical specifications

Posted are the minimum and maximum wage rates for this position. The successful candidate’s placement on the wage range will be determined based on relevant experience and other factors. These amounts are base pay; additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, and bonus opportunities.
