Application Programmer; Washington, DC

TS/SCI with Polygraph Required
Salary Range: $97,000 - $117,000 per year

Ops Tech Alliance (OTA) is seeking an Application Programmer to shape the next generation of secure, mission-focused technology solutions. In this role, you’ll design, build, and test applications that power critical operations while working with a collaborative team of senior developers, systems analysts, and Dev Sec Ops  experts.

THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD.

• Write, modify, and debug code for application components based on technical specifications and functional requirements
• Support back-end and front-end development activities using modern programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and Python
• Collaborate with systems developers and analysts to ensure proper integration of application features and services
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and version control practices to ensure code quality and maintainability
• Assist in the preparation of user and technical documentation
• Support Agile sprint activities and Dev Sec Ops  processes for continuous integration and delivery.

• TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in software application development
• Proficiency in at least one of the following:
  Java, JavaScript, Python
• Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative development environments

• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Familiarity with Dev Sec Ops  pipelines and tools such as Git Lab CI/CD
• Exposure to secure coding practices and requirements in DoD or IC environments
