Tasked with delivering comprehensive reporting and analytical services to internal business partners and leadership, leading the creation and implementation of integrated solutions utilizing business acumen and technical skills.

Responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing BI solutions, databases, data warehouses, data marts, interfaces, custom programming, complex reports, and analysis; developing integrated data and business process improvement solutions for various functional areas.

IT Director/Manager/Supervisor

• Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree and two (2) years related industry experience, or five (5) years related experience.

• Direct development using SQL Server technologies (SSAS, SSRS, SSIS)
• Experience with current Microsoft SQL Database Management Platform preferred.
• Utilizing standard reporting tools to generate reports.
• Experience in BI reporting solutions like Tableau, Power BI, etc.

• Epic Cogito Certification/Proficiency Required;
  Epic Access, Clinical, or Revenue Cycle Data Model Certification/Proficiency; or ability to obtain within three (3) months of hire.
• Infor BIRST Administrator Certification or ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire.

• Ability to learn new applications/software systems effectively and efficiently.
• Ability to take a problem, requirement, or strategy, research, and present solutions for implementation.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently under clearly defined guidelines with supervision.
• Ability to listen to business needs expressed by clients and clearly document system capabilities and constraints.
• Knowledge of health care operations and structure, general requirements in an integrated delivery system, and use of information system applications in the health care environment.

Requires ability to move PCs & printers weighing up to 40 lbs. Requires planning, organizing, and working on multiple tasks simultaneously. Tolerates ambiguity in instructions and work situations.

• Weekly summary of activities to supervisor or lead.
• Document change control and system problems.
• Document all work efforts in IT ticketing system.
• Advise supervisor or lead on potential problems, expanded services, and status of current systems.
• Promptly notify of problems, unexpected tasks, and missed targets.
• Respond to all requests according to departmental standards.
• Perform end-user functions for assigned products.
• Ensure reports, data, and devices are appropriately secured.
• Maintain security of Data Center(s) systems per VMC and departmental Information Privacy Policies.
• Provide after-hours support as required.
• Log into enterprise network and all supported applications.
• Organize, schedule, manage (chair) meetings and publish minutes.
• Contact vendor for support.
• Complete annual VMC educational requirements.
• Write and execute basic SQL queries; maintain & update queries and stored procedures.
• Document SQL scripts and processes.
• Perform routine maintenance and updates to existing reports.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, Epic Reporting Workbench, Radar dashboard, and/or Infor Application Reporting tools.
• Develop complex data integration solutions.
• Improve data validation techniques.
• Design and develop high-impact dashboards and reports.
• Design and develop reports using Radar SQL Metrics, RW SQL, and Slicer Dicer.
• Design and develop reports using BIRST.
• Ensure data governance, compliance, and security best practices embedded in all BI solutions.
• Champion self-service BI, empowering business users.
