Product Application Specialist

Job Purpose

Global Furniture Group, a leading North American manufacturer, seeks a design specialist to support the sales team with workplace trend knowledge and product application solutions.

• Proficient in CET as a core responsibility.
• Review and evaluate projects, summarize client needs, and create deliverables.
• Provide 2D and 3D specifications and renderings to communicate design intent or product recommendations.
• Learn and demonstrate extensive Global product knowledge across all product lines.
• Accompany sales and A&D reps on calls concerning product application, typical development, and standard programs.
• Create design mock‑ups.
• Present recommended design solutions and concepts with confidence.
• Become a competitive product expert; navigate internal competitive analysis and positioning, conduct ongoing research and product analysis to highlight advantages of Global product solutions and applications.
• Collaborate with the competitive intelligence and market research teams when necessary.

• BFA in Interior Design from a four‑year college or university; 3‑6 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, CAP 20/20, and Visual Impressions.

Work involves sitting, using hands, speaking, hearing; occasional walking and reaching with hands and arms. Requires good vision including depth perception, color vision, and overall visual acuity.

Base salary is determined by experience, location, and equity. Eligible for a performance‑based bonus tied to individual, departmental, and company goals.
