A leading consumer-directed benefits and recordkeeping administrator is undertaking a large-scale platform modernization initiative. This is a highly visible, execution-focused role driving consolidation of 10+ interconnected core systems across HSA, FSA, HRA, COBRA, commuter, retirement, and compliance programs into a unified target architecture.
The RoleThis is a multi-team product leadership position sitting at the intersection of product strategy, systems architecture, compliance, and operations. You'll own the modernization roadmap across multiple scrum teams, coordinate priorities across Product Owners, and drive end-to-end platform migration from current state to target environment. Influence flows through technical depth and cross-functional leadership — there are no direct reports.
What You’ll Do- Own and execute the platform consolidation roadmap across multiple delivery teams and interconnected systems
- Coordinate release sequencing, priorities, and dependencies across multiple Product Owners
- Lead migration work streams from legacy architecture into the target platform environment
- Translate complex regulatory and operational requirements into scalable technical solutions, with rigorous attention to HIPAA and PHI/PII compliance
- Drive backend improvements across data architecture, APIs, integrations, reporting, and operational tooling
- Facilitate discovery workshops to surface legacy system gaps and define future-state requirements
- Balance competing roadmap demands across business impact, compliance risk, and technical debt
- Partner with engineering, compliance, operations, fraud, finance, and executive leadership
- 7+ years in Product Management in highly technical environments; 3+ years at Principal or senior-IC level
- Demonstrated experience coordinating roadmaps and priorities across multiple scrum teams or Product Owners
- Proven track record leading platform modernization, consolidation, or enterprise transformation at portfolio scale
- Background in benefits administration, recordkeeping, fintech, healthcare administration, retirement services, payroll, or similarly regulated industries
- Deep understanding of HIPAA, PHI, and PII compliance in multi-system environments
- Strong working knowledge of backend systems, APIs, integrations, and data architecture
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity with evolving priorities and organizational change
- Hands-on experience with HSA, FSA, COBRA, HRA, or retirement administration platforms
- Post-vendor-decision migration execution experience at multi-team scale
- Familiarity with fraud tooling, compliance automation, or operational analytics
- Experience in PE-backed or rapidly scaling organizations
- Scaled Agile / multi-ART or multi-scrum-team environment exposure
