Net Suite Enterprise Systems Manager (Manufacturing) Position Summary

The Net Suite Enterprise Systems Manager is responsible for the strategic leadership, administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of the organization's Net Suite ERP ecosystem and related enterprise applications. This role partners closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, Engineering, Quality, and IT leadership to ensure enterprise systems effectively support business objectives, operational efficiency, and scalable growth.

The ideal candidate combines deep Net Suite technical expertise with proven people leadership experience, managing a team of systems analysts, administrators, developers, and external consultants while driving enterprise-wide system initiatives in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities Enterprise Systems Leadership
  • Own the overall strategy, roadmap, governance, and performance of the Net Suite platform and related enterprise applications.
  • Lead the design, implementation, enhancement, and support of enterprise systems that support manufacturing, supply chain, inventory management, procurement, order management, warehousing, and finance operations.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and digital transformation.
  • Develop and maintain system standards, documentation, controls, and governance processes.
  • Manage relationships with software vendors, implementation partners, and consulting resources.
Technical Leadership & Net Suite Administration
  • Serve as the senior technical authority for Net Suite ERP, including Suite Script, Suite Flow, Suite Analytics, integrations, customizations, and third‑party applications.
  • Oversee system configuration, security, user access, workflows, reporting, dashboards, and data integrity.
  • Lead system upgrades, releases, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Evaluate and implement new Net Suite modules, functionality, and integrations to support business growth.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and cybersecurity standards.
  • Drive enterprise integration strategy between Net Suite and manufacturing systems, MES, WMS, PLM, CRM, EDI, and other business‑critical platforms.
Manufacturing Systems Support
  • Partner with manufacturing and operations teams to optimize business processes related to:
    • Production planning and scheduling
    • Work orders and manufacturing execution
    • Inventory management and cycle counting
    • Procurement and supplier management
    • Warehouse and logistics operations
    • Demand planning and forecasting
    • Quality management
    • Cost accounting and manufacturing financial reporting
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations through system enhancements and process automation.
People Leadership (Required)
  • Directly manage and develop a team of enterprise systems professionals, including Net Suite Administrators, Business Systems Analysts, Developers, and/or Application Support personnel.
  • Conduct hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, career development, and succession planning activities.
  • Establish team priorities, workload management processes, and service level expectations.
  • Mentor team members on technical best practices, system architecture, development standards, and business process knowledge.
  • Foster a collaborative, customer‑focused culture focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Manage external consultants and contractors as needed to support project delivery and operational requirements.
Project & Portfolio Management
  • Lead enterprise system projects from requirements gathering through implementation and post‑go‑live support.
  • Develop project plans, budgets, timelines, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Prioritize system enhancements and initiatives based on business value and organizational objectives.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders.
