PC Support Technician

Job Description

Our customer is looking for a PC Computer Support Technician who will work in a manufacturing/factory environment to troubleshoot hardware (laptops, PCs, peripherals) and software (Windows/Office) for Boeing and Dell end users. The role requires following documented processes, performing software and hardware break/fix tasks, including disconnecting computing and networking equipment during factory changes. Candidates will help customers via phone, in person, and remotely.

Occasional travel to different local sites is required (mileage reimbursed; reliable transportation needed). The position may involve significant walking in factory and flight‑line areas and is part of a 24/7 support team with multiple shifts, responding to tasks under SLA/SLO agreements.

Sunday – Friday: 10 pm – 7 am

• Perform onsite troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades for client hardware and software.
• Provide installation, moves, additions, changes, and disposal activities upon request.
• Conduct hands‑on, in‑depth troubleshooting and associated repairs of failed client hardware and software.
• Document all service activities thoroughly.
• Meet all success‑measuring benchmarks (customer service, SLO/SLA compliance, etc.).

• A+ Certification required (or equivalent 2 years full‑time hardware maintenance experience). NET+ Certification recommended.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing basic networking issues.
• Demonstrated good customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time to complete tasks.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable personal transportation.
• Advanced hands‑on experience troubleshooting and repairing client hardware.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• 3+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Some shifts may require one weekend day.
• Capable of lifting 35 lbs.
• Pass security and drug testing (non‑THC).

Contract position based in Renton, WA. The role is fully onsite.

Pay: $21.57 per hour.
