Platform Engineer

We are seeking a Platform Engineer to build and operate internal developer platforms that enable fast, reliable software delivery. This role focuses on automation, self-service infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and security guardrails.

• Build and enhance internal platforms for scalable software delivery
• Develop self-service infrastructure (templates, environments, tooling)
• Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines for high-quality releases
• Implement observability (logging, metrics, tracing, alerts, dashboards)
• Embed security guardrails (policy-as-code, secrets management, validations)
• Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and infrastructure teams
• Document standards, patterns, and provide enablement support

• Experience in Platform Engineering / Dev Ops / SRE
• CI/CD tools:
  Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, Jenkins, Azure Dev Ops, or CircleCI
• IaC tools:
  Terraform, Bicep, Cloud Formation, Ansible
• Cloud: AWS / Azure / GCP
• Containers:
  Docker, Kubernetes
• Observability:
  Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk, Open Telemetry
• Scripting:
  Python, Bash, Power Shell, or Go
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Developer platforms / internal portals experience
• Git Ops tools:
  Argo CD, Flux
• Experience in large-scale or regulated environments
• Relevant certifications

• Preference for local candidates (Renton, WA area)
• Travel required if non-local (reimbursed; candidate pays upfront)
