Data Mining Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Mining Specialist to join our team in Washington. In this role, you will be responsible for extracting, analysing, and interpreting large sets of data to provide insights and support decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data mining and analytics, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

This is a part-time position that is suitable for students or individuals without prior experience in the field. Accommodation and biometric passport are not required.

• Collect and clean large sets of data from multiple sources
• Identify patterns, trends, and correlations within the data
• Develop statistical models and algorithms to analyze data
• Create reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure accuracy and quality of data analysis
• Continuously improve data mining processes and techniques

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field (or currently pursuing)
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data mining tools such as SQL, Python or R
• Knowledge of statistical concepts such as regression analysis, clustering, and time series analysis
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively
• Good communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear manner
• Attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines

Salary: $1400 per month (part-time)
