Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join our 737 Supply Chain Program Integration team in Renton, Washington or Seattle, Washington
. The role requires willingness to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays, as mission demands.
- Participate in meetings with Puget Sound and China to resolve supplier and parts issues related to Zhoushan Completion Center aircraft.
- Interact with executive and senior internal and external personnel on significant matters, coordinating between organizations.
- Develop and document supply‑chain and supplier processes.
- Create and maintain internal and external supply‑chain communication plans.
- Ensure regulatory requirements for procurement, including import/export, are met timely.
- Integrate supplier participation into the operating rhythm as appropriate.
- Co‑develop and review Boeing and supplier metrics.
- Maintain standard operating procedures for second‑issue to expedite parts.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
- Demonstrate knowledge of customer/supplier organization, processes, policies, and products.
- Apply manufacturing knowledge to support supply‑chain management.
- Understand procurement responsibilities across departments.
- Track procurement obligations such as schedule compliance, quantity, and past performance.
- Manage supplier technical activities (design reviews, schedule reviews, production readiness).
- Assess product/system issues with supplier technical teams.
- 5+ years of experience in supplier management, supply chain, or procurement.
- 3+ years of experience exercising executive presence with exceptional written and oral communication and the ability to influence senior leaders.
- At least one year of formal leadership experience or completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
- Ability to work variable shifts and be available on short notice, domestically and internationally.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- 3+ years of cross‑organizational collaboration across time zones and cultures.
- 3+ years managing external suppliers.
- 1+ year of experience managing parts internally (fulfillment).
- 1+ year of experience in a production environment.
Variable shift schedule, including weekends and holidays. Standard shift:
Monday – Friday, 10 am – 6:30 pm; alternate schedules may be required.
Relocation assistance may be offered based on candidate eligibility.
Pay Range (Level K)Renton, WA: $122,400 – $150,500
Seattle, WA: $122,400 – $150,500
