About the OpportunitySimply Great Staffing is hiring an experienced Facility Maintenance Manager for a high-volume fulfillment and distribution center in Renton, WA. This is a hands-on management position responsible for maintaining a safe, efficient, and fully operational facility, including oversight of automated warehouse systems (ASRS/Auto Store).
If you excel in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, facility operations, and improving processes in a fast-paced environment — this is an excellent opportunity to step into a key leadership role.
What You’ll DoAutomated Systems & Equipment
- Serve as the primary maintenance lead for the Auto Store/ASRS robotic storage system
- Perform daily oversight, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
- Escalate complex issues to vendors to maintain uptime and consistency
- Manage building systems including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, telecommunications, and conveyors
- Coordinate repairs, installations, and building upgrades
- Ensure OSHA and Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) compliance
- Oversee vendors for janitorial, electrical, mechanical, and equipment services
- Lead and support programs such as:
- Security & access systems
- Fire system compliance
- CTPAT (Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism)
- 5S standards
- Recycling and sustainability initiatives
- Parking and CTR (Commute Transit Reduction) compliance
- Lead the Employee Safety Committee
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure corrective actions are completed
- Serve as the facility’s on-call first responder in emergencies
- Work with and oversee onsite technician
- Manage purchasing for building, janitorial, office, and production supplies
- Maintain maintenance and facility budgets
- 4+ years of experience in facility management or industrial maintenance
- Strong background in warehouse, production, or distribution environments
- Experience with automated warehouse systems (Auto Store, ASRS, conveyors, robotics preferred)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety standards
- Ability to be available on-call for emergency situations
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
- Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- Ability to work onsite daily in Renton, WA
