Position SummaryWe're looking for a strategic, people-savvy Portfolio Manager to lead operations across a diverse portfolio of multifamily properties. This role blends financial acumen, leadership, and a passion for service to drive performance, profitability, and resident satisfaction. Key Responsibilities- Lead day-to-day operations, team performance, and resident experience across assigned communities.
- Develop and manage annual budgets; analyze variances and guide properties toward financial goals.
- Review financial and operational reports with precision-ensuring accuracy before owner distribution.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess safety, curb appeal, and market competitiveness.
- Collaborate with Marketing to craft and execute strategic campaigns that drive occupancy and revenue.
- Resolve escalated resident concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Maintain strong, transparent communication with property owners through timely updates and insights.
- Host regular team meetings to coach, support, and celebrate your teams.
- 3+ years as a Regional Manager in multifamily housing or a similar leadership role.
- Proven success in third-party fee management (required).
- Washington State real estate broker's license (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
- Bachelor's degree preferred; CAPS or CPM credentials are a plus.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365 and property management software (Yardi, Real Page preferred).
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Thrives under pressure, managing competing priorities with confidence.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to diverse environments.
- Competitive salary based on experience ranging between $135-$145k per year plus KPI opportunities.
- 152 hours (19 days) PTO annually, plus carry-over up to 120 hours and longevity PTO at 5 and 9 years.
