Operations Manager, Program / Project Manager
Run the operation. Lead the team. Build something that lasts.
We're a locally‑owned, family‑run restoration company serving the greater Seattle area since 2005, and we're at a pivotal point in our growth. We're looking for an experienced restoration leader who's ready to step out of the field and into a real leadership seat — running production across water mitigation, fire/smoke restoration, and mold remediation.
This isn't a corporate desk job. You'll still be in the field regularly, still be solving real problems, but now you'll be doing it at the level that actually moves the business forward — building the team, protecting the margins, and making sure every job gets done right, on time, and profitably.
What You’ll Do- Own day‑to‑day operations across all three of our service lines — water, fire/smoke, and mold
- Lead and develop our Lead Technicians and field crews
- Build and manage the production schedule so every job gets the right crew, equipment, and attention
- Set and enforce the quality standards that protect our reputation in this market
- Manage subcontractor and vendor relationships for trades outside our core scope
- Report directly to ownership on production, performance, and opportunities to improve the business
- Be the operational backbone that lets this company keep growing without losing what makes it good
- $70,000–$90,000 base salary, depending on experience
- Performance bonus tied to gross margin and job completion metrics
- Company vehicle or vehicle allowance
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
- Paid time off and sick leave
- Company‑paid certifications and continuing education
- Real influence — your decisions will directly shape how this company runs and grows
Required:
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in water damage, fire/smoke, or mold restoration
- 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role managing field crews
- IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) and Applied Structural Drying (ASD) certifications
- Strong working knowledge of IICRC S500 standards and insurance restoration processes
- Proven ability to lead people — not just manage tasks, but develop a team
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
A plus, but not required:
- OSHA 30‑hour construction certification
- Experience managing subcontractors and trade vendors
A lot of restoration companies promote someone into an Operations Manager title without ever giving them real authority or support. That's not how we operate. We're a family‑owned business that has built a strong reputation over two decades, and we know our next phase of growth depends on having the right person running operations — someone we trust completely and back fully.
If you've been doing this work for years and you're ready for the role where your judgment actually shapes the company's direction, this is it.
