Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Materials Management and Transportation Manager to join our 737 Fulfillment team in Renton, Washington. 2nd shift:
Mon-Fri – 1:30 pm till 10 pm Must be willing and able to work any shift (Must be able & willing to work various shifts and/or an alternate baseline schedule that may frequently change to support mission requirements and may include weekends and holidays; mission requirements and/or workload may require both scheduled and unscheduled overtime.)
In this role you will lead a dynamic workforce and make key decisions to improve the 737 operations within your team. Join our team and play a crucial role in enhancing the fulfillment operations for the 737 program. You will help us improve compliance while driving stock availability of key commodities, Hazmat, Consumables and Standards. This position offers the opportunity to lead employees and ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of Customer Service, Efficiency and Compliance.
As a Materials Management and Transportation Manager, some of responsibleness will be to lead end-to-end supply chain operations, including inventory control, procurement coordination, warehouse optimization, and freight management—to ensure on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance. You will apply data-driven forecasting and process improvement methodologies to reduce stockouts and excess inventory while collaborating cross-functionally with production, procurement, and logistics partners to support business objectives and continuous improvement.
Our team is currently hiring for a Level K Materials Management and Transportation Manager for 2nd shift.
Position Responsibilities:- Manages and integrates employee activities across more than one area in Tooling, Hazmat, Consumables and Standards.
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Leads, develops and motivates employees.
- Possesses a mindset of safety and quality; influences the team to exhibit Boeing Values and Behaviors
