Senior Project Manager

A leading commercial real estate services provider is looking for an experienced Head of Projects to lead a project management function in Washington, DC.

This senior leadership role combines project delivery, team management, commercial performance and business development, with responsibility for building a strong project pipeline while ensuring projects are delivered safely, profitably and to required standards.

As the Head of Projects, you'll:

• Lead project delivery from initial opportunity through completion and handover.
• Manage project safety, commercial performance, risk and regulatory compliance.
• Build a strong sales pipeline to support long-term revenue growth.
• Lead bids, tenders, proposals and client presentations for new opportunities.
• Manage project forecasts, P&L performance, costs and subcontractor procurement.
• Recruit, develop and lead a high-performing project management team.

To be successful as the Head of Projects, you'll have:

• Proven project leadership experience across M&E, FM, construction or critical environments.
• Strong experience developing project opportunities and managing P&L performance.
• Demonstrable success leading and developing project management teams.
• Experience developing, presenting and managing bids, tenders and proposals.
• Ideally, a Bachelor's degree and professional designation such as PMP, CCM or LEED AP.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without current or future sponsorship.

Technical qualifications or a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical or Electrical disciplines would be advantageous.
