Vice President, Business-to-Government (B2G) Relations – USA
Location: Washington, D.C. / Remote (with frequent travel)
Airvolt Inc. is hiring a Vice President of B2G Relations to lead our public sector expansion across U.S. defense, intelligence, and civil energy markets.
We engineer mission-critical energy technology and ruggedized micro-grid solutions built for high-stakes operational resilience—from forward military bases to civil grid infrastructure.
What You’ll Do- Drive Federal Growth: Formulate and execute Airvolt's U.S. public sector strategy, capturing multi-million-dollar programs across the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Energy (DoE), and civilian agencies.
- Capture Non-Dilutive & Defense Capital: Target and win OTAs, SBIR/STTR Phase III transitions, DIU Commercial Solutions Openings, and major DoE demonstration grants (ARPA-E, OCED).
- Shape Policy & Advocacy: Engage Capitol Hill, federal program managers, and national labs to educate policy leaders and align federal funding priorities with Airvolt's dual-use tech.
- Build Strategic Ecosystems: Scale high-value partnerships with defense prime contractors, military installation planners, and state-level energy offices.
- 10+ Years in B2G Leadership: Demonstrated executive experience scaling federal business development for deep tech, clean energy, or hardware platforms.
- Track Record of $10M+ Wins: Direct history originating, negotiating, and closing major government contracts, OTAs, or non-dilutive federal grants.
- Deep Agency Networks: Established relationships within DoD innovation channels (DIU, NAVFAC, Army Futures Command) and DoE offices (OCED, GDO).
- Regulatory Mastery: Strong working knowledge of FAR/DFARS, CMMC compliance, and Buy American Act requirements.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance (Secret/Top Secret preferred).
