Experienced Coffee Roaster Operator

Location: Renton, WA

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour (DOE)

Work Type: Full-time (Temp-to-Hire)

Shift: Day Shift | Sun-Thurs | 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

Expected

Hours:

40 per week

• Operate our clients' coffee roasting machines efficiently.
• Recognize and correct potential roasting issues before production.
• Ensure proper customer-specific roasting recipe needs are met.
• Troubleshoot and correct common roasting issues.
• Maintain the integrity and appearance of all finished products.
• Understanding of product coding and date/lot coding
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
• Ensure that all supplies are organized and stored in their proper place.
• Report any safety, food safety, or quality concerns to the Supervisor/Manager immediately.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.

• Previous experience in a food production facility required.
• Previous experience in handling and operating coffee roastery production equipment preferred.
• Ability to work quickly and safely.
• Lift a minimum of 25 lbs. regularly.
• Operate all equipment safely and within company compliance.
• High school diploma required; technical or college degree a plus.
• Stand for extended periods.
• Work under strict deadlines.
• Work well in a team environment.
• Personal and professional integrity.
• Attention to detail.
