Aircraft Structures / Sheet Metal Technician (737 Fuselage Program) We are hiring experienced Aircraft Structures / Sheet Metal Technicians to support a leading Tier 1 commercial aerostructures manufacturer involved in high-rate production of narrow body aircraft fuselage structures. • Pay: $47/hour + per diem (for eligible non-local candidates residing 100+ miles away)

About the Role:

Join a production team assembling and inspecting commercial aircraft fuselage structures. You will work from engineering drawings, process specifications, and quality standards to assemble, install, seal, rig, inspect, and complete structural and system components. This role supports a high-volume commercial aircraft program and requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Interpret and work from prints, charts, sketches, and work instructions.
• Use shop mathematics and precision measuring/testing instruments.
• Assemble components using proper tooling and approved processes.
• Verify completed work meets specifications; identify and report discrepancies.
• Maintain equipment and tool certification.
• Perform routine minor machine maintenance (filters, lubrication, light bulbs, etc.).
• Move products within the work area and complete transactions for the next operation.
• Meet production schedules and support continuous product flow.
• Assist, train, and mentor team members at all classification levels. Train other assembly personnel in assembly, installation, and inspection techniques.
• Cross-train in inspection and become SIA qualified.

• 5+ years of sheet metal experience in the aerospace industry.
• Experience on commercial aircraft structures required.
• 737 fuselage, rework, or structures experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and aircraft structures.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and process specifications.
• Experience with assembly, installation, sub-assembly, and sealing processes.
• Skilled in inspection and quality verification activities.
• Detail-oriented, safety-focused, and adaptable to a fast-paced production environment.
