Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented, reliable, and Experienced
Custom Cabinet Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling high-quality custom cabinets, ensuring that all pieces are built to exact specifications, and meeting our high standards of craftsmanship and finish. The ideal candidate will have strong carpentry skills, knowledge of woodworking tools, and a commitment to producing top-tier cabinetry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble custom cabinets according to detailed specifications, including cutting, sanding, assembling, and finishing.
- Read and interpret drawings, plans, and design sketches to accurately assemble cabinetry to the customer’s design requirements.
- Use power tools and hand tools (e.g., drills, saws, clamps, etc.) safely and effectively to complete assembly tasks.
- Install hardware
, such as specialty hardware, hinges, and drawer guides. - Perform quality control checks to ensure that all cabinets meet company standards.
- Work with other team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Ensure all assembled pieces are properly packaged for shipment or installation.
- Troubleshoot any issues or defects during assembly and collaborate with the team to resolve them.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with high-end custom cabinetry
- Proven experience in cabinet assembly or a similar carpentry-related role, minimum of 2 years preferred
- Strong knowledge of woodworking tools, techniques, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with the different types of wood, finishes, and hardware used in custom cabinetry.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and time management skills. - Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor as required.
