Position SummaryThe Marketing & Communications Manager functions as a "department of one," blending strategic leadership with hands-on execution. You will lead the strategy, branding, and production of all communications to elevate WMFHA’s brand and drive engagement across advocacy, education, and event programs.
Key Responsibilities- Strategy & Execution: Lead branding, planning, and evaluation for all advertising, PR, social media, and web content.
- Content Creation: Conceptualize and produce original assets, including social graphics, event signage, digital/print ads, and short-form video (Reels, Linked In).
- Digital Management: Oversee the WMFHA website and social media platforms; manage email campaigns via Mail Chimp to improve click rates and engagement.
- Collaboration: Serve as the staff liaison to the Marketing Committee and partner with all departments to drive revenue for key initiatives.
- Analytics & Budgeting: Take ownership of web analytics reporting and manage the marketing department budget.
- All other duties as assigned by the WMFHA senior management.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of relevant experience in marketing/communications.
- Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Canva, and MS Office. - Digital Savvy: Experience with mass-email tools (Mail Chimp), social media management (Hootsuite), and basic HTML.
- Core Competencies: Strong visual design skills, professional diplomacy, and the ability to manage complex workflows under tight deadlines.
- Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 (DOE) + 8% annual bonus potential.
