- Obtain and accurately record patient’s vital signs.
- Document components of patient’s history.
- Communicate in an open and appropriate manner with patients, visitors, and staff.
- Participate in in‑office procedures under the direction and supervision of a licensed healthcare provider.
- Perform diagnostic CLIA waived testing.
- Perform venipuncture to obtain blood for lab testing.
- Handle prescription call‑backs per scope of practice.
- Prepare patient’s chart for pertinent clinical information.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and keep patient examination rooms stocked.
- Adhere to AMC’s regulatory compliance issues.
- High School Diploma/G.E.D. – required.
- Previous experience in a patient care setting – preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to present information and respond to questions from physicians, patients, family members, or other employees.
- LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse – State Licensure upon hire – required.
