Position Overview

As a Bariatric & Obesity Medicine RN, you’ll guide patients through both surgical and non‑surgical weight management journeys, serving as a key clinical resource and advocate.

You’ll play a central role in patient education, care coordination, and ongoing support—helping individuals achieve sustainable, life‑changing health outcomes.

What You’ll Do
  • Guide patients through bariatric and obesity medicine care pathways.
  • Provide comprehensive education to patients and families.
  • Conduct nurse‑only visits and follow‑up care.
  • Manage phone triage and MyChart in‑basket messaging.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary care team across departments.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and advocate for this patient population.
What You’ll Bring
  • Active, unencumbered Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Associate degree in nursing (or higher).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers.
  • Passionate about supporting patients through meaningful, long‑term health journeys – often driven by a personal connection to the work.
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a multidisciplinary setting.
  • Strong communicator who builds trust with patients and colleagues.
