Sr Solutions Engineer

You will support the Sales team in the Pacific Northwest territory, working with prospects and customers to align their security needs with Sentinel One solutions.

• Work with sales partner(s) to develop territory and account strategies and campaigns.
• Understand customer requirements related to security architectures across data center, cloud, and enterprise environments.
• Track and document aspects of the sales cycle, including elements typically the primary responsibility of the Sales Engineer.
• Lead Proof‑of‑Concept and value engagements.
• Prepare and lead technical presentations to explain how the products and services work.
• Secure orders, guarantee product standards, and assure product delivery.
• Recommend new and improved products to customers, explaining cost‑effectiveness.
• Actively participate within the greater technical team, sharing experience and best practices.

• 7+ years’ experience in a pre‑sales role, preferably in cybersecurity or endpoint defense.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent real‑world cybersecurity sales/consulting experience.
• Demonstrable experience in objection handling and positioning against competitive technologies.
• Experience speaking to both small and large audiences with concise written and oral communication skills.
• Proven success selling to enterprise customers.
• Ability to explain and demonstrate complex product/security solutions to technical and senior leadership audiences.
• Basic knowledge of hacking and exploitation tools, detection evasion techniques, notable malware, and anti‑malware solutions.
• Experience in computer forensics, security architecture, penetration/red teaming, or incident response (plus).
• Team‑focused approach and positive attitude.
• Travel up to 50% possible; must be based in the Pacific Northwest.
