You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to issues with clear communication and strong customer service. ** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.

+ Control entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and deliveries by checking identification, validating authorization, and documenting activity in logs and/or electronic systems.

+ Complete detailed reports on patrol observations, incidents, and unusual conditions, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.

+ Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.

+ Have a minimum of 1 year of armed security and/or law enforcement and/or military experience.

+ Possess an armed guard card and/or license.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
