As an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. ** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

+ Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized entry and exit in accordance with site-specific requirements.

+ Prepare accurate reports and maintain communication with site leadership, emergency responders, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents and security-related observations.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.

+ Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.

+ Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
