Responsibilities
- Layout, construct, install, modify, and rebuild plant facilities plumbing systems
- Diagnose, test, repair, adjust, and maintain plumbing and mechanical systems
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and routine plumbing tasks
- Interpret and work in conformance with codes, ordinances, blueprints, sketches, specifications, and verbal instructions
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, other crafts, customers, vendors, and management to ensure smooth job execution
- High school graduate or GED required
- Experience doing jobs or tasks where you had to apply math skills such as algebra, geometry and/or trigonometry
- Experience reading engineering blueprints/drawings
- Experience working with precision measuring tools
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Must not have previously enrolled in or completed an IAM/Boeing Joint Apprenticeship program
