Behavioral Health Associates provide care, support, and a safe living environment for individuals residing within our 24‑hour inpatient and residential facilities. They provide supportive counseling and skills development through individual or group sessions to assist clients with stabilizing symptoms and learning illness‑management skills. The role is part of an interdisciplinary team that offers individualized, trauma‑informed treatment in collaboration with the client’s natural support systems to help ensure a smooth transition to community outpatient treatment.

This position is full‑time, with a set work schedule and comprehensive benefits. Shift differentials apply: extra $1.00 per hour for 6 pm–midnight and $1.50 per hour for midnight–6 am.

• Develop and conduct social & leisure activities for clients
• Facilitate educational, behavioral health, or skill‑building groups
• Coach clients in practical living skills such as nutrition, budgeting, and independent living activities
• Accompany clients to appointments, community events, and outings
• Provide daily oversight of medication self‑administration and monitor symptoms & medication response
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, including general housekeeping or deep cleaning as needed
• Complete required documentation that reflects activities, goals, and progress of each client
• Ensure safety by properly using personal protective equipment (PPE), including N95 respirator masks, when appropriate

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous related experience preferred
• Must be eligible for registration as an Agency‑Affiliated Counselor
• Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle liability insurance
• Compliant with state and federal law regarding post‑offer, pre‑employment drug screen and background check
