Qualifications:

• Active Connecticut Social Worker (SW) license
• School Social Worker endorsement (#071) required
• Previous experience working within a school environment preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct support and counseling to students, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Develop and implement intervention strategies in partnership with teachers, families, and administrators
• Evaluate student progress and provide recommendations regarding educational plans
• Serve as an advocate and resource for students and their families
• Maintain thorough documentation as per school and state guidelines
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
