Trustpoint is excited to partner with a nationally respected Am Law 100 firm in their search of a Legal Billing Assistant on a direct hire basis. This primarily remote role will require occasional in office attendance. Successful candidates will have previous experience with billing or accounting and live a commutable distance from the following cities:
Washington, DC or Reston, VA.

Responsibilities:
  • Distribution, logging, preparation, processing, and mailing of client billing
  • Provide prompt and accurate assistance to resolve billing problems
  • Research all inquiries regarding past and present billing
  • Maintain client and matter database
  • File and prepare past month's billing for electronic submission
  • Review and summarize engagement letters regarding special finance agreements
  • Enter financial arrangements in accounting system
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Previous experience with billing or accounting
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree required; degree in a business or finance related field (preferred)
  • 10 key by touch
  • Intermediate experience with Excel
  • Advanced organizational, written and verbal communication, and detail-oriented skills
