Position Title: Senior Technical Accounting Manager
Assignment Type: Permanent Hire
Compensation: $165,000–$175,000 annually
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

• sResearch complex accounting matters and prepare detailed technical accounting memoranda supporting conclusions under U.S. GAAP
• .Analyze proposed and completed business transactions to determine the appropriate accounting treatment and financial statement disclosures
• .Serve as a technical accounting resource for corporate accounting and cross-functional business partners
• .Provide guidance on revenue recognition, business combinations, lease accounting, stock-based compensation, and other complex accounting matters
• .Evaluate the accounting impact of acquisitions, purchase accounting, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions
• .Research and advise on goodwill, long-lived asset impairment, software development costs, segment reporting, and derivatives
• .Develop, maintain, and update corporate accounting policies and procedures
• .Lead the evaluation and implementation of new accounting standards
• .Monitor accounting standard-setting activities and communicate relevant developments to stakeholders
• .Support the preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statements and related disclosures
• .Assist with the preparation and review of Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, proxy statements, and earnings-related materials
• .Partner with external auditors during quarterly reviews, annual audits, and technical accounting consultations
• .Support internal control and SOX compliance initiatives related to technical accounting and financial reporting
• .Collaborate with Finance, Tax, Treasury, Legal, Operations, and other teams to resolve accounting and reporting matters
• .Communicate technical accounting conclusions clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
• .Participate in special projects and strategic accounting initiatives
• .Manage multiple technical accounting projects while meeting financial reporting and transaction-related deadlines

• sBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
• .At least seven years of progressive accounting experience
• .Significant technical accounting experience within public accounting, accounting advisory, or a complex corporate accounting environment
• .Current or previous Big Four Manager or Senior Manager experience strongly preferred
• .Expert knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statement disclosure requirements
• .Strong experience with revenue recognition under ASC 606
• .Strong experience with business combinations and purchase accounting under ASC 805
• .Strong experience with lease accounting under ASC 842
• .Strong experience with stock-based compensation under ASC 718
