Salary: $50,000 - $52,000 per year

We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Automotive Accounting Clerk to join our fast-paced Accounting and Finance team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for various accounting and clerical tasks related to the maintenance and processing of automotive transactions. You will have the opportunity to work with a team of seasoned professionals and contribute to the financial health of our organization.

• Managing all accounts receivable duties, including billing, posting payments, and reconciling accounts.
• Performing data entry tasks with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
• Utilizing the Reynolds and Reynolds system for various accounting tasks.
• Processing invoices and ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately.
• Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Managing customer queries and disputes related to billing and payments.
• Collaborating with the sales and service departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Maintaining organized and updated financial records.
• Assisting with month-end closing activities and audits.
• Adhering to all company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in using the Reynolds and Reynolds system.
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable and billing procedures.
• Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• High level of integrity and trustworthiness with the ability to handle sensitive financial information.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
