About the Opportunity

The Executive Assistant will provide high‑level administrative support to the President and the executive leadership team. Reporting directly to the President, the role includes a one‑on‑one working relationship, support to the senior management team, organization of executive outreach, external relations, and oversight of special projects. The ideal candidate will exercise good judgment in a diversity of situations, possess strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.

Location

Reston, VA (in‑person, Monday to Friday)

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage sensitive matters with confidentiality, integrity, and discretion, especially those impacting company operations.
  • Draft and prepare correspondence for internal announcements, board meetings, business contacts, and external organizations.
  • Function effectively in a demanding environment and manage special projects as required.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and time‑management skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Arrange travel, hotel accommodations, and prepare expense reports.
  • Prepare Word, Excel, PowerPoint presentations, agendas, reports, and other documents to support organizational objectives.
  • Respond to emails, texts, and phone calls, including contact outside normal U.S. business hours.
  • Represent the company and the Executive in a positive light through follow‑through and sound judgment.
  • Conserve the Executive’s time by researching, collecting, and analyzing information as needed in advance.
  • Organize complex calendars and schedules, resolving scheduling issues.
Skills and Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience as an executive assistant supporting C‑Level executives.
  • Effective professional communication and proficiency in English grammar and language.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information securely.
  • Bachelor’s or related degree preferred but not required.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Flexible hours as dictated by the needs of the business for projects and meetings.
  • Creative problem‑solving and a bias toward action with a sense of urgency.
