Business and Financial Analyst

Overview

The Business & Financial Analyst will provide analytical, financial, and reporting support to the Real Estate and Workplace Solutions (RE&WS) organization. This early-career position is designed for professionals beginning their careers in business or financial analysis and offers hands-on experience supporting real estate portfolio management, financial reporting, and operational analysis. This position assists with compiling, validating, and analyzing data related to real estate costs, leases, space utilization, and portfolio performance.

Working under the guidance of senior managers, the role supports budgeting activities, recurring reporting, and ad hoc analysis to inform real estate planning and decision-making. The position offers opportunities to develop technical, analytical, and business skills while contributing to enterprise-level real estate initiatives.

• Assist with compiling, validating, and analyzing data related to real estate costs, leases, space utilization, and portfolio performance.
• Support budgeting activities, recurring reporting, and ad hoc analyses to inform real estate planning and decision-making.
• Provide analytical, financial, and reporting support under the guidance of senior managers.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
• 0 years of relevant experience through entry-level roles, internships, or academic projects
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Local to Reston, VA area with ability to frequently be onsite

• Experience supporting financial analysis, reporting, or budgeting activities
• Exposure to corporate real estate, facilities management, or asset-based analysis
• Familiarity with SQL, databases, or structured data analysis
• Experience working with large, complex, or unstructured datasets
• Interest in developing long-term expertise in business, financial, or real estate analytics

Pay Range Pay Range $50,700.00 – $91,650.00
