Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Project Manager to lead daily operations for multiple supply chain projects. This role will coordinate product selection, deliveries, and subcontractor installations with our internal Source Blue teams to ensure seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in discussions with Source Blue and Turner Business Unit teams to identify and secure business opportunities.
  • Support technical sales activities for Business Development and Pre-Construction phases, including presentations, package reviews, and scheduling.
  • Work closely with Preconstruction teams to determine logistics for product estimation.
  • Ensure adherence to purchasing and risk management policies.
  • Create project-specific scopes of work for vendors and collaborate with the National Supply Chain team for approvals.
  • Develop and issue bid packages to vendors, conducting thorough bid analysis for team review.
  • Gather vendor product pricing for estimating and budgeting purposes.
  • Evaluate vendor contract terms, managing the bid process and communicating outcomes to vendors.
  • Coordinate project scopes with the team and subcontractors for clarity on equipment procurement.
  • Draft and manage vendor purchase orders and maintain comprehensive purchasing and submittal logs.
  • Oversee vendor submittals, facilitate factory tests, coordinate product deliveries, and manage equipment start-up and training.
  • Monitor project budgets and financial reports, ensuring compliance and addressing discrepancies as needed.
  • Manage vendor payment applications and track receivables effectively.
  • Participate in additional duties as assigned.
Compensation

The salary range for this position is estimated to be $ - $ USD annually.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial construction; a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Technical expertise in electrical, mechanical, or finished product systems.
  • Familiarity with the commercial construction industry, its regional trends, and competition.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with an ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Understanding of estimating, construction costs, scheduling, and purchasing principles.
  • Proficient project management abilities to balance workload and drive projects to completion.
  • Advanced presentation skills tailored to audience needs.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills with sound decision-making ability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and collaborative tools.
  • Willingness to travel regularly.
Physical Demands

The role requires physical abilities including climbing stairs and ladders, and negotiating construction work areas. Candidates should be able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Work Environment

Employees will work at construction sites with exposure to moving mechanical parts, outdoor conditions, and varied noise levels, along with office settings that may be quiet to moderate.
