About the RoleAs a Junior Business Analyst on the Product Marketing team, you will be part of a dynamic group responsible for analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and supporting product marketing initiatives. This role is designed for those looking to develop a strong foundation in business analysis, product development, and product marketing.
At the Analyst‑Level, you will be expected to contribute to the development of recommendations, business knowledge and technology awareness, provide meaningful input into client deliverables/proposals, and take ownership of assigned tasks. You will conduct research, collect data, and perform quantitative and qualitative analyses to support business solutions.
Role and Responsibilities- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Assist in creating product marketing materials, conducting market research, and supporting promotional activities.
- Contribute to the design and development of product roadmaps based on market research, business needs and customer feedback.
- Assist in the preparation of project reports, presentations, and other documentation.
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams (development, marketing, sales, etc.) to ensure product alignment with business goals.
- Participate in product testing and ensure user requirements are met.
- Develop a strong understanding of company products and their application in the market.
- Support product managers in day‑to‑day activities, including research, analysis, content creation and reporting.
- Occasionally support productizing Excelacom’s work, contributing to the Center of Excellence and working on proposals to clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, MIS, Communications or a related field with a GPA of 3.7 or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Strong written and verbal communication and math skills with an analytical approach.
- Ability to interact cross‑functionally with various levels of management and peers.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team‑based environment.
- Experience in a professional office environment.
- Previous internship or work experience in business analysis, marketing, or product management.
- Familiarity with market research techniques, data analysis, or product lifecycle management.
- Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
