Business Development Research Associate
Growth-focused member of the Business Development team assisting with driving new revenue. This role provides hands‑on support for business development and capture activities. Attend industry events, capture leads, manage CRM operations. Accountable for meeting annual activity targets by aggressively identifying, qualifying, and capturing new business opportunities.
Responsibilities- Research and identify new opportunities across target federal agencies
- Monitor Gov Win, SAM.gov, and other opportunity sources
- Qualify opportunities against bid criteria and strategic fit
- Maintain CRM data accuracy and hygiene (updates within 24 hours)
- Attend industry events and capture new leads
- Execute persistent follow-up on all contacts
Prepare meeting materials, briefings, and opportunity summaries - Support proposal development and other growth initiatives as assigned
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Proficiency in CRM systems
- Strong research, writing, and organizational skills
- High level of accountability and follow-through
