Brief Role Description

This position is Career Level 20P located in Reston, VA with a Role Classification of Hybrid.

The (VW or Audi) Business Development Specialist will focus on driving Finance & Brand Loyalty through Leasing programs. The individual will be responsible for working with Sales Operation, Field, Brand, Protection Product, and Remarketing colleagues to develop ways to improve lease loyalty and leasing volume. They will provide business insights from internal data, third‑party data, and field insights, analysis, and recommendations.

The Specialist will support leadership as requested to facilitate VWFS / AFS Dealer sub‑Councils, liaise with other departments to identify agenda topics, and respond to dealer feedback.

• Identify, scope and manage policy and program enhancements to support portfolio growth and loyalty strategy through the dealer channel
• Take a lead role in developing VW‑centric actions, reporting, and initiatives that maintain alignment with VW Brand / Audi Brand goals
• Work with Product Specialist / Manager to ensure the VW position is understood and upheld throughout product development
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Risk) to ensure products and policies support specific Brand goals and business objectives (new and CPO / used)
• Collaborate with field, brand and corporate departments to deliver actions supporting loyalty KPIs
• Collaborate with corporate departments to identify key topics for sub‑council meetings, support through ad‑hoc reporting as needed
• When feedback is received from sub‑council, coordinate with internal departments to communicate feedback and follow up on actions to ensure completion
• Lead VWFS / AFS sub‑council meetings to present proposals for approval, and post‑program analysis/results to internal stakeholders

• Derive timely, relevant and actionable insights – business intelligence at a national and regional level that drives VCI business and financial performance
• Steer Sales Operations (Brand Specific) goals when collaborating with other internal teams on new and innovative projects

Years of Relevant Experience

• 7+ years of professional experience
• 5+ years of experience in automotive financial services, automotive or related captive finance field

Preferred

• 2+ years automotive brand experience and/or field experience

Required Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
