Team OverviewAt Trans Union, this team reports to a Manager of Compliance Advisory. The role advises Communications Solutions business partners on regulatory compliance across product development and ongoing operations, leveraging expertise in U.S. consumer financial protection and telecommunications regulations. It supports new product development, manages regulatory issues, and assesses the business impact of regulatory change. This is a hybrid position requiring at least two days per week in a TU office.
Role Overview And Core Responsibilities- Advises Communications Solutions on compliance with U.S. regulatory obligations.
- Leads product reviews for new or changed Communications solutions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Provides Risk and Compliance support for the Communications Solutions Cross‑Functional Leadership Team.
- Follows Regulatory Change Management procedures to assess the impact of new laws and to develop and execute action plans.
- Supports Issue Management procedures, identifying control breaks that could harm customers and investigating root causes, tracking corrective action.
- Serves as subject‑matter expert for relevant compliance policies and training.
- Supports regulatory exams and enforcement activity.
- Executes team initiatives, including supporting Risk and Compliance Councils and periodic Mergers & Acquisition activities.
- Collaborates with Legal, Risk, and Audit teams to ensure enterprise‑wide alignment.
- Mentors junior team members and contributes to a culture of compliance excellence.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 8+ years of compliance experience, including roles in Compliance Advisory and advising business partners during product development.
- In‑depth knowledge of U.S. consumer protection laws and regulatory frameworks, including CPNI, Privacy Laws, FCC Regulations, UDAAP, and GLBA.
- Experience in issue and regulatory change management.
- Ability to convey complex regulatory concepts clearly in both verbal and written communication.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and cross‑functional teams, building strong relationships across business units.
- Strong project management skills.
- Pragmatic and practical mindset, with the ability to identify, define, and develop creative solutions.
- Experience with telecommunication services or brand protection services.
- Experience navigating a highly matrixed organization.
- Advanced degree or certification (e.g., CRCM, CCEP).

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $ – $187,500 annually.
