Position: Growth Enablement Manager

Tyto Athene is seeking a Growth Enablement Manger to support enterprise growth strategy, market intelligence, and capture execution across the Federal marketplace.

The Growth Enablement Manager builds the capability of the people who pursue and win work. Where Growth Operations owns the systems and data that run the pipeline, Enablement owns whether the field can actually use them - through onboarding, playbooks, process discipline, and change management.

This role sits at the center of three transitions the growth organization is running simultaneously standardizing pursuit process across a business that has grown by acquisition, moving AI from pilot to standard practice in pursuits, and professionalizing the handoffs between Capture, Proposal Center, and Growth Strategy & Analytics. The Growth Enablement Manager is the connective tissue that makes those transitions stick at the individual-contributor level.

This is a builder role. The enablement function is newly elevated; the person in this seat will be creating the curriculum, the playbooks, and the adoption measures rather than inheriting them.

Responsibilities
  • Design and run the onboarding path for new BD, capture, and account personnel - time-to-first pursuit is the metric, not training hours delivered.
  • Build and maintain the pursuit playbook qualification standards, capture cadence, gate-review expectations, teaming decision criteria, and the artifacts required at each stage.
  • Deliver live and asynchronous training; maintain a certification or readiness standard for personnel leading pursuits above a defined value threshold.
  • Run a recurring enablement rhythm (office hours, pursuit clinics, lessons-learned sessions) that surfaces field friction back to the VP.
Process discipline
  • Own the documented pursuit process end to end and hold the standard in practice bid/no-bid rigor, gate reviews that actually gate, qualification discipline that reduces low-probability pursuit spend.
  • Facilitate gate and milestone reviews as a neutral process owner - convening, preparing materials, enforcing entry criteria, and tracking commitments to closure.
  • Identify where process is failing and distinguish design problems from adoption problems, then fix the one you own and elevate the other.
  • Partner with the Proposal Center on the capture-to-proposal handoff so that what capture produces is what proposal production can use.
AI adoption and change management
  • Serve as the field-facing owner of AI adoption in pursuits translate capability from the Contract Growth Innovation Center testbed into trained, repeatable practice.
  • Build the enablement layer around new tooling - use cases, guardrails, quality expectations, and review standards for AI-assisted work products.
  • Track adoption honestly, including where tools are being ignored or worked around, and feed that back to the testbed.
  • Apply structured change management to process and tooling rollouts; anticipate resistance rather than reacting to it.
Integration enablement
  • Onboard BD and capture personnel from acquired organizations onto the growth operating model - process, tooling, terminology, gates, and expectations.
  • Identify practices worth adopting from acquired teams rather than assuming one-directional integration.
  • Build integration playbooks that shorten the ramp for each successive acquisition.
Knowledge and measurement
  • Maintain the enablement content library and coordinate with the Proposal Center reuse library so field-facing and production-facing content stay aligned.
  • Package competitive positioning and price-to-win guidance from Growth Strategy & Analytics into forms the field can apply in a pursuit.
  • Define and report adoption and capability metrics - gate compliance, playbook usage, ramp time, tool adoption - in partnership with Growth Operations, who owns the underlying data.
Required
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years in business development, capture, proposal, sales enablement, or growth operations, including at least 1 year in government contracting or a comparably regulated, pursuit-driven B2B environment.
  • Demonstrated experience building an enablement program, playbook, or training curriculum…
