What this job involves:
As a Project Manager at JLL, you'll take ownership of construction and real estate projects from initiation through closeout, serving as the principal of the project for internal clients, contractors, and cross-functional teams. This role places you at the heart of project delivery, where you'll balance technical expertise with strong relationship-building skills to keep projects on track, on budget, and aligned with quality standards.
You'll manage everything from secure facility construction and ICD-705 compliant upgrades to corporate real estate projects, ensuring seamless execution across all phases. What your day-to-day will look like:
* Manage project execution including scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements while serving as the primary client contact throughout delivery
* Coordinate cross-functional project teams including architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and seamless communication
* Oversee secure facility construction projects, including ICD-705 compliant upgrades and new secure facility buildouts, maintaining strict operational security protocols
* Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budget tracking systems, and risk logs to proactively identify and address potential issues
* Review and process contractor submittals, RFIs, change orders, and payment applications to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely approvals
* Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, verify quality control standards, and ensure compliance with safety regulations
* Facilitate project meetings including design reviews, construction coordination sessions, and client status updates to keep all stakeholders informed
* Prepare comprehensive project documentation, meeting minutes, and status reports that provide clear visibility into project health and milestones
* Maintain organized project files including drawings, specifications, correspondence, and closeout documentation for audit readiness and knowledge transfer
Required qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field
* 5+ years of project management or construction management experience with demonstrated success delivering projects on time and within budget
* Strong proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office Suite
