Job Description
We are seeking a talented Architect to join our dynamic design team, focusing on industrial and data center projects. You will be responsible for supporting design teams in the creation and production of base building architecture using Revit, managing project timelines, and liaising with clients and consultants. This role requires a passion for data centers and industrial work, as well as the ability to draft, handle redlines, and potentially lead projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities- Conduct surveys and input survey data.
- Contribute to space planning and input space plan designs.
- Pick up red lines on construction document sets and assist in their production with team collaboration.
- Understand basic codes and ADA requirements; training will be provided if necessary.
- Assist with measurements and comprehend USF, RSF, and core factors; training available.
- Support the construction administration and submittal phase.
- Help assemble drawing sets and coordinate lightly with MEP consultants.
- Meet with architectural representatives and assist in maintaining architectural resources including CAD symbols, 3D libraries, and hard copy resources.
- Create renderings and assist with presentations and colored elevations.
- Attend interviews based on personality suitability.
- Proficiency in Revit architecture.
- Experience in architectural design and construction documentation.
- Commercial and industrial experience, particularly in data centers, storage facilities, and warehouses.
- Base building experience.
- Client interfacing skills.
- Project management skills.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Architecture preferred.
- Basic understanding of codes and ADA.
- 5-10 years of professional experience.
- US Citizenship required.
Our firm is located in Northern Virginia and offers a flexible work environment, allowing team members to work in the office 1-2 days a week based on performance. The office is equipped with Vectorworks, a Mac-based platform that allows seamless integration across devices like Mac Book Pro and iPad. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reston, VA.
Pay And Benefits- Pay range: $45.00 - $57.00/hr.
